Garage Door Question
Garage Door Question
My garage doors from 15 years ago are out of order where they come into contact with concrete. So, the bottom strip is torn off, and the rubber sides are torn. I was not satisfied with the price of $ 3,400 for replacing both doors. Is it possible to replace only the lower part of the door, and then paint them in the appropriate color? Does anyone have any suggestions for metro companies that can fix the doors rather than replace them?
Man, those garage door prices can be a real punch to the wallet, huh? $3,400 sounds like a lot. 😲 Good news though, there are companies out there that can fix up those garage doors without having to replace the whole thing. You might wanna consider just replacing the damaged parts, like the bottom strip and rubber sides, and giving 'em a fresh lick of paint.
If you're in the Toronto area, check out these guys at https://fixgaragedoors.ca/service-ar...ir-in-toronto/. They've got a good rep for repairing doors rather than replacing 'em.
Good luck and hope this saves you a few bucks!

About garage doors—finding the right one can be a bit of a journey. They've got a nice selection and their service looks reliable from what I saw. I recently checked out https://portlanddoorsandlocksguy.com/ , and they seem like a solid option. I'd recommend reaching out to them, maybe even swinging by their site, or giving 'em a call to chat about what you need. It's worth taking the time to find a good match for your place. Getting a new garage door is a bit of an investment, so making sure you're happy with it is key. Hope this helps you out!
