General Ford v8 build questions

I was wondering if you guys could point me to a site I could go to in which to learn about building and modifying Ford v8 engines, mostly 351w articles and such. What I'm really looking for is an explaination of what cam specs do what and what CC in the cambers do. I come from the world of Turbododges the 2.2/2.5 turbo cars so I know a fair bit about EFI and Boosted engines however old school Carbs and v8 performance are a bit of a mystery to me. The reason I'm asking for help is because I'm buying a 351w swapped mustang II(My dad used to have one when I was a kid).

Thanks for the help guysthumb:

There are a number of good books out there. Check out some of the titles here:

I tried a google search and all that came up were books, which I have 3 I'm going to pick up from the library on monday but how about instead of posting a "why don't you search google" you take the same amount of time and point me to a site that you know that has my information LOL

Well I ended up getting the following books from my local library and each has helped me a lot in deciding how I wanted to do my build

Ford Engine Parts Interchange
How To Build Max Performance Ford V-8s on a Budget
How To Power Tune Ford v8 Small Block Engines (Speed Pro Series)

All 3 books are full of good information for v8 newbies like myself
