Help with 66 mustang rear louvers leaking water??

need advise / help with stopping water entering car....through rear quarter louver vents . (functional vents on 66 gt fastback) When washing , rain, etc,
Water enters through bottom of louvers and into quarter panels ...down onto floor / under rear seat. Any one with similar past experience??

Behind the louvers there is a catch tray, with a hole in the bottem for a rubber hose, the hose goes to a hole thriough the floor for the water to drain. You might not have the hose there or it may have come loose or is cracked. The only way to know for sure is to take of the interior panel and check.

The 65's had a hose.

The 66's used a plastic watershield.
