Hey, Need some guidance or direction....

Well here it goes

As mentioned in my introduction I have finally purchased the car of my dreams. My 93 L.X coupe. Now I find myself looking and going through different estimates for a decent paint job to fix some rust bubbles and all and to give it that clean look. I had a network of car shops before but they deal with majority import cars, Now my question to you is...is there a specific autobody paintshop that most of you go to maybe located in the G.T.A or even better Markham? I was looking to get either a pearl silver paint job or Liquid silver paint job this winter so my car would look pretty for the first day of summer. Also are there any performace shops designated to muscle car drivers? I was looking to pick up a set of either recaro passenger and driver seats or even Sparco.....

Thank You....

Sean<---in need of some help pls.

Well, there's a guy down in a small town called Kingsville (45 mins SE of Windsor) by the name of Frank Gartner. When it comes to painting Fox Body stangs, he's probably done more than anyone in the country (quality jobs, not Maaco ones). He's reasonably priced, which means you'll find better prices, but you will not find better work. I'd say give him a call, he's a great guy to talk to, and will not pressure you. He's earned his reputation by being honest, doing quality work, at a fair price for the job. When it comes time to paint my baby I'm going to him. He's already helped me out with two cars, and I've seen about a dozen of the stangs he's done in essex county, simply amazing jobs and the owners love the cars.

Anyway, he's not paying me to advertise. So if this isn't your daily driver, give Frank Gartner a call at his shop..... (519) 733-5148
His shop is at 193 Industry Road, Kingsville in case your interested in Mapquesting to see how far you are from him. If he asks who refered you to him just say Sheri Overholt's brother Michael..........you "might" get a small discount but don't count on it lol

Anyway, congrats on the dream car purchase and best of luck making it "yours".

There are lots of shops around that deal almost exclusively with mustangs. Check out the club sponsors as well as DaSilva Racing :tup

What about Birchmount Collision? I think they are in Agincourt now, up around Kennedy & Finch or is it Steeles? I've seen them doing stuff for Dream Car Garage on Speed channel. They can't be bad if they're in bed with them... :hump: :dunno

Birchmount is alright, but they did my car following an accident and there were 3 runs. Mind you, that was the original location on Birchmount that is now closed.

Tip Top Collision on Danforth Ave has good results from what I have seen.
