Hey White Lightning or anyone else

I bought a set of Ford Racing springs Jan 09 and Rob installed them. A week or two ago when the car was on the hoist we noticed the right spring was compressed, just the bottom 5 or so loops. The car rides level etc but I'm sure the spring is faulty as the left was not compressed. Am I one the hook or will warranty cover this as it's a Ford product.

Also will I have to buy 4 springs the back 2 or will they sell me one if I have to cough up the $$$$$. Thanks for any and all answers:banghead:

Sorry SNAKEBITE. Check out page 5 of Ford Racing Performance Parts - [2010 Catalog]
Ford Racing says "Ford Racing Performance Parts and Vehicles are sold "as is", "with all faults", "as they stand", and without any express warranty whatsoever, UNLESS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY DESIGNATED HEREIN". Page 189 shows the springs you ordered (I think thats them) but it doesn't mention anything about a warranty - maybe the retailer you bought them from will cut you a break.

Yeah, unlees it's an oem part on the stang,it's not covered. And as 97_SALEEN_5.0 posted above,Ford racing parts are usually not covered either....unless you know someone very well at the sales counter.

Not a Ford Racing Dealer :( so I'm not sure on the details for Ford Racing parts warranty. Regular Ford parts have a 1 Year / 20,000ms warranty that I do know.

ahhh.... that is balls... :( i hope they can at least give you a break or good deal. not like you abuse the snake or put killer km's on it to cause the overly compressed spring. only thing i'd be worried bout is if you only buy a single spring, is it going to settle properly?

I just hope I do not have to buy 4 springs. I bought them at Metro Ford but I guess that will not matter. The springs have approx 1500 k's:banghead:

no i doubt you'll have to get all four. just front two is all you'd have too. no reason to buy new rear springs.
