I just put on the Bassani axle backs. Very deep aggressive sound. I do get some drone in the convertible at around 50 mph, but it's getting better. Supossedly coupe's are very little drone. I also have the Bassani x-pipe with the high flow cats which brings the noise level up also(even with old stock mufflers). Cost was $575 at through WMS.
They also have JBA's which are a good buy (~$425). If you have the original stock h-pipe, you could go to the x-pipe and stay with your magnaflows and get louder. My X-pipe was $700.

SLP is loud.
Why not go back to the Flowmasters like you did with your last GT?

You need to press the skinny pedal down harder. That only costs a bit of fuel and the occasional set of tires - maybe the odd ticket or two.

Mostly stop driving that thing like a granny!

I just ordered some Roush axle-backs from Lethal Perf. Hoping they arrive this week and maybe get them installed on the weekend. Follow the link and you can click on the sound clips.

On a GT500 you can't beat the KR axle backs from Ford Racing. If you want them really loud, go with an off road mid pipe as well. My KR's are going on in the next few weeks and I can post a sound clip if you want. I'm staying with a stock mid pipe though.

give leathal performance a call all the GOOD GT500s i've ever seen are done by them, and they sound LOUD!! but still not too drony.
also, go with a 3" exhaust. the 10+ GT500's have it, and it sounds amazing!
