How high should I take revs to?

I have a 1995 Mustang GT 5L manual and was warned to watch how I rev it. Have been told many different rev points to take it to but there is a big variation and am confused...lol. I don't want to hurt the engine but when on the track I want it to perform. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

If the engine is stock, you would be wasting your time to rev it much past 5,200 rpm.

cheers
Ed

Agreed with the 5200rpm!!!

When I had my 95 GTS I shifted at 5000, and seemed to be the best pickup for me anyhow.
