My family has always been competetive in a fun way. So After I bought my V6 in 2012 my younger brother was always threatening to buy a GT. Well he finally bought one and boy did he one up me. He bought a new GT Premium in all it's Guard Metallic glory. It really is a nice car but now I am obligated by the family code to respond especially after he sent the pictures below shortly after he bought his car. When I saw the first one with Batman I spit a mouthful of coffee all over my phone. They are quite funny but what he doesn't know is that I'll soon have enough saved to buy the all mighty Procharger which will keep me at the top of the food chain until his Warranty is up and he eventually gets a Whipple. It's fun having brothers. Anyway here you go.

I keep reminding him to join but he's a big time procrastinator. I'll keep on him but here's the two cars together at the drive in recently. We both got some serious attention.

Thats a pretty sweet ride, they look good together. LMAO at all of those, well, more so the first two, because I know who Batman and Reagan are, last guy I know, but only seen The Big Bang Theory a couple of times, and that was because of the blonde chick with the great rack.

Damn, V6 Mustangs get no respect! It will cost you less to supercharge your car than it would for him to change the colour of his...

I hear what you're sayin' but I think the V6 hate came from the models prior to 2011. I think the most power they made was 190 hp but with the new engine Ford made a pretty capable car especially when the performance package was added. I can't hope to keep up with the GT yet but because of the factory goodies Ford put into it, it handles identically to the GT. You're also right about the price. With the incentives I got when I bought it, the V6 cost 9000.00 less than the GT and I have no regrets. My car is a rocket, gets great mileage and to me is the most beautiful car ever to roll out of Michigan. And that's what it's all about.

I hear ya there too. The '05-'10 cars were 210hp at the flywheel. My '07 was also $9000 less than the base GT. I couldn't justify (or afford) the difference for 2 more cylinders. My idea from the start was to buy the V6 and make it out perform a stock GT for less than that $9G difference. I bought a mild supercharger kit, and with a conservative tune, Its putting down a little over 300 to the tire (about what a GT made at the flywheel). There's still room for more, but I'm happy with the way it works.
There is a lot more potential in the 3.7 that you have.

The 3.7 is a great engine and has a ton of potential
