The Innerframe

So I was wondering if anyone had seen this system or knows anything about it. It looks like a good idea but it maybe a little bit much with the way the door sills are beefed up. I was thinking of doing something similar to this. Ideas, comments, thoughts, ect…..

What's your car used for?

Seems like a pretty extreme system. If you were going to do that then you may as well do a full roll cage IMO.

Well my car will be used mostly for the street. I was thinking the same thing, that this is a little to extreme. The sub-frame connecters that I have know, I made them, are on the heavy side but the work well. I was just looking to tie the front, middle, and rear all together without adding a full race cage. I have a few ideas on how to do this with a custom street cage, sub-frame and some other goodies.

Sheesh..thats quite the chasis...If you were doing serious SOLO stuff then I would say hell yah...or even building a 8 sec car..but from the sounds of it this may be overkill for your application..still pretty cool though :tup
