Issue with Throttle sticking while driving
Hi everyone
I am new to the forum so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have a 1986 Mustang GT and I have been having an issue with my throttle sticking 15 minutes or so while driving. Tends to stick at 2K to 3K RPM. If I pull over and shut the call off and start again it will correct itself. Can anyone tell me what could be the issue? I could start off with replacing the throttle cable but to me it doesn't seem mechanical since I can correct it by shutting it off and starting it again. I could be wrong any help would be awesome. Thanks |
In the automatic transmission obsessed U.S. market, for some reason, people don't think of it. Stay calm, and go to neutral is a great first thing to try.
