Keyless Entry......Programming?

Hi All,

1994 Mustang GT

I have the keyless remote that came with the car and changed the batteries cause it wasn't working. Even with the batteries changed it won't work. Does this thing need to be re-programmed....? Anybody can tell me how I would really appreciate it!

Thanks

this should work for your year..
In case anyone ever needs to clear the memory from their remote entry
system it is very simple to do, In the trunk of the mustang there is a black plastic bracket on the left (drivers)
side of the vehicle. Attached to the bottom of this bracket there is
a grey 2 pin connector.
Turn the ignition switch to ON, then take something like a paperclip,
wide blade screwdriver (i used a spoon) and touch the pins together.
The car will lock then unlock the doors. Then take your remote and
press the lock button. The doors will lock and unlock as a sign that
it learned the code from the remote. Do this for each of the remotes
you wish to program. All the remotes that operate the car have to be
present so that the car can "re-learn" them. This was amazingly
simple considering the local dealer wanted an hour labor to "reprogram
it"...at $45 an hour.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A KEY ON YOU AND DON'T LOCK YOUR SELF OUT OF YOUR CAR....JUST IN CASE..LOL

for later models...
1) Turn key from OFF to ON eight times(5 times on some vehicles) within 10 seconds ending in the ON position.
2) After doors lock then unlock, press any button on the
remote being programmed.
3) The doors should lock/unlock to confirm programming.
4) Turn key to OFF and door locks should cycle one last time.

You can program up to four remotes this way, but they must
all be done at the same time (repeat step 2 for each).

let me know if this helps... :tup
