Looking for carb help in Richmond B.C.

Like the tag line says, my father in law has a 67 289 v8 and I just rebuilt the carb for him and it runs like a dog. I was really hoping someone on here might be willing to do a favour for beer or dollars(or both) and either do the work or let me help and learn while looking over their shoulder. Failing that, does anyone know a good mechanic for these cars that wouldn't be more than a half hour drive away. Really could use the help cause she's a sweet old car and I would love to see her running tip top again. Oh, it was the motorcraft carb if that matters.

Cheers,

T

Can I reply to myself?? Nobody in the lower mainland can help me out with this one?

Looks like no takers. It likey just the time of year. Everyone is doing everything they can to get their own Mustangs on the road. Is there a hot rod shop, performance shop or engine shop near you? They could give you some tips even if you didn't hire them to do the work. If I lived even remotely close to you I'd come help ya out. :tup

Well, thanks Vaem for getting back to me. He has decided to take it to a guy who did some work on his classic pick up a while ago. I would rather it was someone with a parrion for the make but we will see what this guy can do. Also, would have been nice get the knowledge for myself as well. We shall see, someone may turn up yet.

Cheers,

Toby
