Mach 1 out today... NO SNOWS

Hey Guys,

Today there is a pretty major storm in Southern Ontario, I was out driving around in my 4x4 pickup and saw a beautiful blue Mach 1 with stock Mach 1 rims. I assume that there were not any snows on the rims as they didn't look like it as i passed it, I don't know about you but I would never take out my car in this weather unless i desperately had to. I felt like offering my winters to him that are sitting in my garage! That car belongs in driveway or a garage in this type of weather.

Lets pray this is our last storm of the year,

One other thing, this past week i took "her" out for a gas up and roll around "town". One thing, the roads were completely dry and obviously still salt covered, but is this residue very slippery, i wasn't giving it, but slipping and sliding accelerating out of turns.

Thanks,

Grant

totally agree.....I was out today in the wife's 07 Rabbit with snows....and even with snows the roads were complete bullshiat

saw a BMW 3-series coupe on Z-rated "all seasons" that got stuck trying to make a simple right-hand turn on a side-street in a residential subdivision

for a guy to take his Mach out in this on 245/40 series boots is retarded

Hearing stuff like this is what makes me glad my mustang is sitting in a warm place, and glad I have my jeep.

I see tons of people with bald tires barely even getting into the parking lot at my work coming expecting winter tires in weather like this. Some people are insane how rediculous they are about maintaining their vehicles.

Had my mustang out today. 15 celius according to the outdoor reading. Roads were really good. Snow in Edmonton is melting really good but I feel we are in for another dumping before the begining of April.

the 3 series are generally light in the back and they handle horrible in the snow with 17" all seasons on... unless you have snow tires on the traction control kicks in and out almost all the times causing the car to be non operational

my buddy has a 3 series, 328xi to be exact, he loves it and says its amazing in the snow... think he just has the all seasons that came with it...

Ciao

the xi models are the exception to the rule... X designates all wheel drive on BMW models... same as 4matic for mercedes-benz and quattro for audi...

I would hope it handles great in the snow...rockon:

ya i know what the x stands for, he used to have a rsx type S, got stuck a few times and bought the B-mer, figure it will be with him for a long time... its fully loaded, including navigation,
