McGard locking Key's

Well as some of you know, my key that turns my locking lugs busted last year at shannonville, after trying to remove Nickm50s slicks.

I was trying to figure out a way to get the lugs off. i bought the locking lug remover from princess auto a week ago, but it did not work seeing the lugs were to far set into the rim.
So, i went down to the local for dealership to see if they were factory locking lugs. he told me i had to call McGard.

So i did, and they said all i had to do was mail them the key, and they would replace it at NO CHARGE!!!!thumb:

If only i had tried that 5 months ago...

SO i guess this post was just to let you know, if your key breaks, just give them a call....

My key got lost once, and all I did was pound a 19mm socket on it and replaced the lock once I got it off. Might be another option if anyone dont want to wait. thumb:

That is good to know, thats what we do at my work to get them off... Or we torch them off. But there is a good chance the rim will get a little messed up so I wouldnt recommend it on nice rims.

Thats wierd, I am a mcgard dealer and I didnt know that.
