Might be Time to Trade.

So I'm looking at trading the Mistress tomorrow. Not a big change mind you. It's a 2012 Mustang GT.......Can you guess what color??? GRABBER BLUE

That's right, trading a '10 for a '12. Honestly I love my car, but ever since that new 5.0 came out, I knew I had to have one, and my local dealer has one in my color. And best of all, it's a 6 speed. So wish me luck, and hopefully I can post pics asap.:D:D:D

Lorne 12-04-2011 05:07 PM

Congrats,great Christmas gift.

You won't get any sleep tonite :tup

ChadStang 12-04-2011 05:10 PM

You won't regret it. Make sure you hit them up for a good deal as we will be ordering 2013 models shortly.

SNAKEBITE 12-04-2011 05:46 PM

Hope all goes well so good luck.

DublDee 12-04-2011 06:27 PM

Yeah we'll see what happens, but I know I won't get what I think my cars worth, but I guess thats a given when trading in. They were asking 33,750, but so far I have that down to 32,000. What do you guys think I should be comfortable with for a price, and what do you think I should get for mine?

Nice, and good luck!

SNAKEBITE 12-05-2011 10:36 AM

All I would say is if the numbers are comfortable pull the trigger, at least thats my way

Apocalypse Pony 12-05-2011 11:48 AM

You only go around once dude, so if you can pull it off, go for it! Love the colour and the price seems good. Way to go.

Lorne 12-05-2011 02:49 PM

Ten to five my time. How did you make out??

DublDee 12-05-2011 03:14 PM

It all sounds positive so far. I sign the papers tomorrow, at the bank, and they had the car in the shop today for a block heater install...I told them, it was a waste of time, because the only winter driving it will see is from the dealership to my garage, oh well. I will post pics tomorrow, when I have possession.:D

Vapor Shelby 12-05-2011 03:25 PM

Good News! Try to snag a Garage Banner with the deal :chacha:

SNAKEBITE 12-05-2011 04:26 PM

ChadStang 12-06-2011 12:20 AM

if the roads are wet flat deck it home. I lucked out Jan 19 2009 as the streets were dry:chacha:

DublDee 12-06-2011 05:57 PM

She was plus 7 out this morning here, and drove it home on dry roads! Took it for a bit of quick drive on the highway, and then washed it up, did the stabil thing and filled it, and tucked it away in the stable until summer. I can't wait! What a difference from the 4.6, it blows me away, and honestly I was quite happy with the 2010, but this 2012 isn't even comparable. It's nice having a stick again, and it came with the Brembo Brake Package, with 19" P Zero Summer shoes. I love it:chacha:

I can't seem to upload the pics I took with my phone, but I'll try again.

ChadStang 12-06-2011 08:09 PM

Great to hear. I love the wheels that come with the brembo brakes.

DublDee 12-06-2011 08:15 PM

Yeah, I really like the wheels too. I'll get some good pics off of my camera, and post them asap. I feel like a kid at Christmas again:D

Yeah tell me about it:banghead: On the bright side I recently bought a 2003 Jeep TJ Rubicon with a 6 1/2 inch lift and 37" tires, so hopefully it's enough to keep my mind off the stang until spring.

SNAKEBITE 12-07-2011 05:10 PM

well congrats are in order. Now would be the time to get a base coat of polish/wax on that bad boy lol. Like you mine sat for 4 months before I drove it (really weird eh) but I am guessing I put an easy 50 coats on her before she ever saw the light of day tehehehe. If I was in Lloyd I would be over insisting you uncover her and we could get her all super shiny

That's the spirit snake. It's good to see you back on the waxing bandwagon.

SNAKEBITE 12-07-2011 06:32 PM

I actually started mine last night a to see if it would start, which it barely did. I let it run for 20 minutes and then disconnected.

Glad to see you're coming around:LOL:

Here's a pic I took when I stopped at the sister-in-laws, on the way home. Not a great pic, but the best I could get with my phone. Once I get her all polished and waxed, I'll take better ones:D

Apocalypse Pony 12-08-2011 11:41 AM

Once again - sharp looking rig. Love the hound catching a nap in the window.

Haha good eye. I was too busy looking at the car and didn't even notice that there was a house there.
