Being a newbie to Mustangs & I dont know if I have a problem or not.
I have a 2008 Mustang coupe V6 with auto. I've noticed that when I'm in Drive and accelerating the transmission has a low moan. When I let off the gas it stops.

Would be happy to hear from anyone.

 

It could be coming from the rear end. Differential noise usually changes with load.

 

x2 what Chad said. I'd have the rear-end checked out first.
