Mustang Horn? My motorcycle horn is louder!
I recently bought a 2002 GT convertible.
After driving the car for a a few days, some idiot cut me off in traffic, so I hit the horn. Pathetic little squeak came out. I was almost hoping no one heard it. Has anyone had a similar experience? Any quick fix/swap recommendations? I need a horn that gets attention. :? |

LOL, I wish we still had a "Thanks" button. I was going to post train horns, but thought I'd take it easy on the new guy.

Thanks for the tip. The pair of car horns on Amazon look right, thank you.. Train horns are not appropriate for a Mustang. (And questionable on a pickup IMO...)

2005+ horns are good and loud haha

S550 horns are good too.....if you go with the train horn, you'll need a set of these for the hood.

You will. I bought the Hella Super Tone off Amazon as recommended. I'm Out of town on vacation at the moment. Have a few new parts waiting for me when I get home (shifter, shift knob, weather stripping, antenna...). So it begins....

Horn arrived - don't fit
So many comedians, so few laughs...
Anyways, Hella Supertone won't fit in the space Ford allowed (inside left front fender). Going to send them back. Found out one of the factory horns was dead, which why is sounded so pathetic. Probably replace them anyways, but with something smaller but still loud. |
