I'm thinking of buying a 1991 mustang gt from a local here in westbank,he believes the car has numbers matching.Where are the numbers on the engine,tranny and rearend?

I believe the numbers on the engine is on the starter side of the 302 near the front.
There will be a tag that is bolted to the rear end cover, and tranny I'm sorry I cant answer that.
Chances are it will be matching.
You could decode the VIN number.....

Who cares about numbers matching. It's not a 70 Hemi Cuda Convertable! I've converted a dozen 4 cylinders to 5L and no one could ever tell that looked at them. Make sure it's not rotted, drives well and runs well...that's what is important.
