my first mustang
hello everyone, yesterday I bought my first Mustang, 2003 GT ragtop, it has one owner, yes in all honesty an elderly lady owner from new, it has 67000kms on clock and I have all service records etc. The lady had all oil changes etc with "normal" oil, standard air filter, oil filter etc....my question is should I go to synthetic oil, should I add a drop in KN filter, I am not thinking of modding the car, basic questions I know but this is my first time in a V8....for your info have normally ran Acura, had a BMW (that sucked!) and have just sold WRX sti.....really looking forward to cruising with a V8. Thx for any advice, thoughts etc. Will be asking lots in near future.

If you are not going to mod the car...then keep on keeping on. No reason to spend more money on synthetic oil or an aftermarket filter.

I agree with 07procharger. Just keep servicing it like she did. Keep your records with hers. So if you ever decide to sell it, it will sell quicker then one without records.
Just my two cents worth. |
Geez, I'm rude. I forgot to say Welcome to CMOC first. :brickhead
