my knee hurts
 
hey i am haveing this problem with my 89 stang, my clutch is very hard and i have to push it so hard for it to dissengage if i am stopped it is hard to put it gear i have to push my clutch so hard right to the bottom i don't know how much longer my knee can last i had to go for xrays today just for it, anyways, i brought it to a tranny place he said mabe they cahgerd the clutch on this car already, well the car has only 80000 km and the clutch doe't slip at all, is their some kind of adjustment i can do or something please help?

what kinda clutch is in it?

i don't know i just bought it a month ago it 80 000 km on it i wish i knew it is so hard the cluth even when i push with my arm the guy said the cable is fine but i don't know i need someone who knows how to check this out without taking apart or even gotta be a way to adjust it the problem sometime also goes away a becomes like butter but most of the time hard like a rock

What motor and tranny in it?

You're probably gonna need a new clutch Nick, there's no way to adjust the pedal tension, you can adjust the pedal travel by lifting the pedal from behind with your toe then depressing the clutch, if it's out of adjustment it should "click" when you lift it, but it won't make it any lighter. If the garage says the cable is free, it's likely a pressure plate problem, my car is doing the same thing right now, my cable is free for sure, so once I get it back from being painted it's getting a clutch.

man i wish i didn't have to do it but i figured it would bw something in the clutch well i am gonna weigh it out for the rest of this year anyway thanks boys
