need help with exhaust

I have a 2011 mustang 3.7 I need help with types of exhausts. I really want to put an exhaust but im really indecisive on what i want. Im looking for that nice mustang roar a nice smooth sound. Obviously I wont get the V8 sound without an obvious V8 under the hood but id like to get dam well close. Also check out my album let me know what you think!

Got quite a few V6 guys on here, should have some suggestions, this sort of work can be exhausting, but you'll hear them loud and clear, they won't muffle their reply.

I have a V6 as well as a GT.

On the 2005 V6 I have the Magnaflow #16605 Dual Catback System and it is quite loud on take off then settles into a low roar. This one gives me a sound greater than a V8. Don't sell yourself short on the 4.0L V6. Look up the Magnaflow site and check out the #16605 series and or one applicable to your 2011.

I have Magnaflow on my V6 as well...you don't want to go too loud on the V6, as it ends up sounding raspy, and, well...not very good. I've had MAC, Corsa, Stock GT take-offs, GT-Bs, and Magnaflows in various configurations on mine, and the best quality of sound came from stock GT mufflers or the Magnaflows.

Roddy you could not be more right! The last thing I want is a raspy sound coming from a muscle car.I'll be honest with everyone I actually took off my factory mufflers and straight piped it from the mufflers and I get a nice sound however it gets real raspy in the high rpm range and I hate it. Anything after 4000 rpm it sounds like a legit crime scene. So I can get the factory gt exhaust and put it on? Would I be losing any power high end low end torque etc..?

I run stock GT Mufflers with a Mac Pro Chamber on my V6 and it sounds good. Roddy can vouch for me as has heard my car run. Here is the link to that thread back in 2014.

I did have a video up of the car running with a dash cam but for some reason I can't seem to find them on my computer. I'll have to check my back up drive.

I thinks that's my best bet. I know it's a bit tricky when it comes to v6 sounds but stock gt mufflers with pro chambers just sounds like it's gonna be awesome. Hopefully I get everything installed soon so I can post up a video.

I don't have a lot of experience with the V6 cars but I would guess that a 4.0 and 3.7 are not going to sound the same even though you use the same setup. Just some food for thought.
