Need some advice

I bought my 90 coupe last year. I've read so many articles, books and forums trying to find out what i should do. I was thinking 331, but now I'm just wondering about heads. I'm on a super small budjet ( thats why no 331) so I'm now looking towards the wrecking yards. I've heard good things about the explorer heads and intake. Is it worth it? I have a friend who works at Sean Hyland racing and can help with the porting. Can I make good power with these parts. I have bbk cold air, BBK headers, offroad h pipe, flowmaster 40's with no tail pipes and pulleys. Is it worth my time and money to get the intakes and the heads. I've read articles ( tmoss) that says the flow amazing with a little help.

Buy an entry level used Vortech and some lifters.

The GT-40 setup can flow great #s only problem is that the Explorer uses GT-40P heads, which require different headers, otherwise it's a good setup, I would also change the cam.

I'm looking for the 95-96 heads and intake ( which are gt40 not the gtp heads). Was thinkinhg of the f303 cam. Any suggestions of what cam to run??????

F is not e-legal, you'd be better off with an E-cam, a custom cam would be best-but costly.
