New 2016 V6 fast back
 

Good day all
I am in the Ottawa area and ordered a new 2016 V6 magnetic metallic fast back. Should be here in about 4 weeks and I am pumped!!! got the 51 A package which gave me the decklid spoiler, 18" black painted wheels, lumbar support (nice for this broken old soldier!!) and a few other niceties!
I am fairly new to the Mustang world and new to this group!
I will be looking forward to getting lots of information and advice from some of you experts and long timers!

Anyone know good places maybe even in the Ottawa area to get some mustang accessories to start with? license plate holders, air fresheners, travel mugs, key chains etc, etc. I am like an expectant father waiting for his child to arrive!!! LOL. May want to add a some rear side widow spoilers and rocker stripes in the near future as well so advise on best places to buy and have these put on would also be welcome. Sorry for the long first post!!!!

I had originally signed up when I bought my 2014 (1st mustang) but I was just getting into the mustang groove when I was involved in an accident so that is why I am now getting back into it. No serious injuries from the accident so all ok except of course the car which was a right off!

Yep and I am not complaining!!! I told them I wanted it by Monday because it is my 50th birthday and it worked!!!! LOL

Thanks everyone for the comments and Apocalypse Pony for noticing the plate! Served 28 years and now work at the head office for the Royal Canadian Legion so I am passionate about taking care of our Vets.
Pumped for this weekend and a nice long ride in the new Stang. I ordered some magnetic metallic louvers and had them shipped to Ogdensburg N.Y. so I will drive the 40 minutes this weekend or next to pick them up!

Second, thanks for your service. It took me a long time to understand what it meant until I had a chat with a younger guy who was between tours 'over there'... Merci!

I got the same car from Sterling Ford was treated like royalty. I can't drive it enough and I should have gotten it years ago! Good for you!!!

Would you mind posting pictures when you get the louvers on? I have been curious about them and how they would look on 'our' model...

That is the one I was thinking about.

For modifications I can't recommend anyone personally. I just take it to the dealership I bought it at for service and the few mods that have been done I've done myself.

I know this will sound like a sales pitch but my recommendation would be to come out to one of the Ottawa Mustang Club meetings and talk to people in person or look at their Facebook group. The club's first meeting is this Thursday (May 5) at Campbell Ford at 7:00pm then cruising to a coffee shop on Merivale.

I know club members have had work done at different places around town including some dealership and independent shops.

I printed off an info sheet for the Ottawa Mustang Club, just filled it out and am planning on coming Thursday night. Hope to see you there. I am sure the locals will have some good ideas regarding mods to include who to see about adding some rocker stripes.
