New Axle-Back Exhaust on the way!
So after many hours of deliberation I finally pulled the trigger on a set of Corsa Axle-backs. It was between the corsa's and a set of borla stingers. What sold me on the corsa's was that they have no drone to them. They are quiet when they need to be and loud when they need to be as well. I can't wait for them to arrive.

Hey chuckles how's it going. Not a bad choice but I still like my 40's:biggrin: Only 4 months until Home Depot time (or Ikea). I will keep you up to date.:chacha:

So it might be moved to ikea?? That would be pretty sweet. We'd have a lot more places to find food that's for sure :tup |

Haha your 40s rock Paul. I'm gonna stir the pot with something new next season. I sure hope it sounds as good in real life as it does on the computer haha :chacha:

I have never really been a fan of Borla myself, always a flowmaster guy. But the drone of my late favorite 40 series is getting old.... but damn, flowmaster does sound sweet. Anyhow, nice choice! Car looks good as well. |
Welp they have arrived. Should be putting them on in the next couple days. :D

They look sweet, let us know how you feel about them when you put them on.

They are on!!! They have a little more bite when you fire the car up and are slightly louder than stock. Once the car returns to a normal idle it rumbles again slightly louder than stock. When you stab the throttle is when it really comes to life and lets you know who's boss. I wish I could have taken it for a road test but I probably wouldn't even get off my driveway there's so much snow. I'll post my before/after videos by later today.

Ok Nick I think you are a good young fella but if you ever tell me you have taken your car out in this slop and goo, I will get my wife to kick your ass. I am to crippled and feeble to do it myself. It sounds good, the exhaust I mean. I hope like hell you had the garage door open ie stuff coming from the pipes:tup
I can't wait for you to hear them in person they are pretty badass. It took me awhile to get the tips centered (lots of swearing). But I figured it out. My shoulders are killing me from crawling around on the garage floor yesterday. Working on a lowered car is hard on the body. I bought ramps cause my floor jack can't get under the car easily. Put jack stands just incase the ramps failed. Worked pretty good. Nice and safe! :tup |
