I am looking for new engine for my Mustang 07
my dream engine is: crate, tur-key engine, dynoed
4,6 - 5.0 or 5.3L with 2.8L Kene Bell or Whipple

Iv been thinking about

Sean Hyland Motorsport (SHM) OR Brenspeed

pros:
Sean Hyland Motorsport offering dynotested engines
Brenspeed offering very nice shortblock

contras:
SHM had some bad references, but they are very old (7-10 years)
cant find anyew news about SHM
Brenspeed not offering turn-key engine

Do you have any (good or bad) experiences with those two company?
I dont want to send aprox. 25k - and just wait... :-)

Wow, thats bizarre, who knew someone in Austria would be looking to source an engine from Canada. Welcome, good luck with the search, dropping $25k for an engine is..... a lot. lol

 

well, since there is NO real engine builder (or you have to pay 2x more) we have to order everything from US or Canada... and If you want whole engine - you have 5-6 places where to go..

 

SHM was "the" mod guy for the a long time but he seems to be diversifying his efforts. But he is still a great guy to buy from, not the cheapest at all but he is a really great shop to buy from.
