new to forum

hello folks,
im new to this forum. I thought i would sign up. Ive always wanted a mustang and have finally made the decision to buy one. Im not sure what i want yet as far as year, but i do know i want a gt coupe, black, with manual tranny. Hopefully after spending some time here it will give me some direction as to what year to buy.

Welcome and good luck. There are some good buys out there but some bad ones also so buyer beware.

i might have missed it but what body style are you looking for??
ie. fox (early 80's->93 it's more the square style, smaller with a 5L )
SN95 (the earlier ones were more rounder then the later ones 94->04)
new style 05+ (not sure what platform they're built on :S)

that would probably help for the suggestions on what years to look for/avoid

i had the 99 and up model in mind. I believe they had a 4.6 about 260 horse.

Yeah, any help would be appreciated.

In my opinion - it comes down to style preference, the size of your bank account and how quickly you want to make any mods.

Check out the following web site - under gallery - lots of pics to give you an idea of what is possible. blackmustangclub.com

I'joined CMOC a few years ago - but my work has kept me out of the country for the past several months - good to be back.

I don`t want to make your decision any worst but all the different model have there own (pick me) qualities so take your time ask alots of questions and narrow down the possibilities.
