New Project

Well I decided to get rid of a Ranger I had picked up as a project as well as some of my other stuff that was laying around and picked up an 84 SVO. The paint is pretty tired and it needs some tlc but that's what a project car is supposed to be I guess.

It has 165,000 ish km's, the paint is pretty faded and a few marker lights are out, some rust on the rh rear 1/4. Interior is pretty decent but needs a good scrub. It has the original shift knob and steering wheel that aren't all beat to hell which is nice. My first plans after the cleanup and repairs are done are to find a front mount intercooler, computer, injectors from a turbocoupe for it. Then I'll get a manual boost controller and fuel pressure regulator and dial up the boost. I'll also pick up a 3" down pipe and do something with the exhasut. From there we will see what happens. I also have to get this all by my wife which is the difficult part.

tehehehe the wife part. Will the car have to be repainted or is it salvageable?

Can't even remember the last time I saw one of those SVO products, but I remember when they came out. Cool project.
