New Stang on the block!
One of my best friends who has had a hard life pulled up to my drive way and called me out. He was sitting in a brand new 2007 4.0L Burgundy Mustang Convertible. I was so happy for him cuz he totally deserves but enough with the mushy stuff he has enlisted me do as much research for him as possible cuz he don’t have a computer. So wants to do 3 things and wants to get your guys opinion.
1) What are some the best CAI for the 07 stang conv? He is all brain washed with marketing and wants to get a KandN one. He doesn’t mind spending a little more and getting something that has proven performance rather then eBaying it. Please list some brand and prices that would be awesome. 2) Rims and tires. He wants to go 20X10/9 is that possible? Or are there only 20X8.5? What are the best tire combinations for this rim size? He wants 285 in the back and 275 up front. Will 20"s look good on this car? He wants to do what everyone else already has 20" black bullets, opinions? 3) He is looking to do true duals on the 07. He is more worried about performance then sound. What do you guys recommend? Flowmaster 40 series, H-pipe custom? Any bolt on kits after the headers? Any comments/advice would be awesome. Also pics with 20 would be cool too. I am doing this and meeting up with him tomm so we can take pics of our stangs and discuss it. Thanks in advance guys. |
