Not completely satisfied

Well the Magnaflows have been on a week and after 40 kms I can say I am not completely happy. The sound is not the same as the deep throaty sound of the Flowmaster 40's. Under load they sound alright but at idle they are just way to quite. Oh well maybe they will fall off and I can purchase something different. I'm not sure but will the mufflers become a little louder with usage, mind you 600 kms per year does not consitute useage

If your not happy unbolt them sell them and buy a different set....solved.
The amount of driving the car will see, it will not change in sound at all.

Agreed. If the deep throaty sound is what you are after, only Flowmaster,or MAC will give you that due to their design,....the chamber design.

The only thing is that chambered mufflers tend to be the quieter of the bunch, at low rpm's anyway. If you want that deep sound but want it louder, you'd probably want to keep a chambered muffler and remove the cats/add some longtube headers.

I like the idea of removal as we do not have e-tests or inspections. God love Alberta

Off road H pipe,or X pipe will definitely help at idle for more rumble, long tubes will make it even more quiet at idle then with the stock manifolds unless wide open throttle, then it's a different story.

Thanks. I knew I should have gone with the 40's. Oh well, for now. Time to get the misses to hand over the cash:laughhard

Same boat here. I have now put 1500k on these magnaflows and not really happy. Not near loud enough. My wifes V6 is louder. Wish I went with the Magnapacks or flowmasters. Stuck now I guess.

I still think Borlas are exactly what you're looking for Paul. Just sell your magnaflows at the car show this year. You should be able to get most of your cash back
