First Mod

I'm getting my first mod for Christmas, a SR short shifter from AM. I'm looking over the instructions now, but I'm a little nervous about the install. Any advice for someone not used to wielding a wrench?

Just take your time, and follow those instructions, you will be suprised on how easy it is to do some mods in doing so.

Get everything you'll need all layed out, read the instructions a few times, read the instructions and look at your setup right now, like doing a dry run in your head and not diving right into ripping stuff apart. Sometimes it helps to take pics so you know what things looked like and where you started, you can always delete them later. Most of all, like 1LO said, take your time. If somethings not working right, put it down, walk away and cool off, come back and start again. Good luck dude.

EGR delete

Hi guys. I like to pick your collective knowledge about deleting my egr. I've got the upper intake off at the moment waiting for a polished one to arrive. Just what does deleting the egr do for me ? Do I have to do anything other than putting a plate on the throttle body spacer and plugging off the vacuum line ? BTW, this is on a basically stock 92 foxbody 5.0.
