Oil filter wrench

On my car I like to use tge K&N PS-2010 filters.
I don't like using anything else but damn they are quite a hassle to take off with the traditional loop wrench.

So im wondering if anyone knows an easier way to get them off. Tired of that wrench slipping all the time.
I want to buy one of those oil filter caps but no one makes a 93mm version with 12 flutes.

Any suggestions?

No room to use a 1" wrench or socket? I'm pretty sure that is the size of the nut on the bottom of every K&N oil filter. I use the same 2010 filter, or the Ford FL820S from the dealer.

EDIT...My bad. I use the K&N HP-2010. That is the white one. The black one does not have the welded on nut. Maybe try the HP-2010...

They are flat on top. They don't have the bolt on top unfortunately.

I don’t know much about them. Do you replace the whole filter or just a cartridge inside the filter? The claw wrenches work great but they do damage the end of the filter.

I see this is an older post but you can solve the filter wrench issue with double sided tape and an aggressive sandpaper, 80 grit or coarser. Give the wrench a good clean on the inside with something like brake cleaner and apply tape and a strip of the sandpaper cut to size. It’ll never slip and when it wears out, just replace the sandpaper.

Thanks for the suggestion. I figured it out.
I bought one of those claw gripper things for a socket wrench.
Works a lot better after i put some velcro at the tips
