Your very welcome....can I ask who's painting it and if they've spray painted before, car I mean?

I hope so. I would spare no expense if I was to have mine painted.

I am going to do the prime myself. Have some experience with it. Not sure who will do the finish.

If I screw up the primer I can always sand it out and start over.

nice way to save some dough as well

Very true.

I have another question. I am sanding down the body and finding several layers of paint and bondo. Plus another filler, grey or metal color? I am finding it under the bondo. Is there a grey body filler? Almost looks like a resin for fiberglass but not finding any fiberglass mixed in.

Alot of guys use metal to metal body filler for the ground coat.It is a grey/silver looking filler.Body fill with metal mixed in.

Ok, that is what it looks like. And its harder than bondo to sand off.

SNAKEBITE 02-22-2012 11:33 AM

Maybe Tooltime Tim can whip up a sander for you tehehe
