Pleasant Surprise

I recently received a complete copy of the Marti Report on my 83 4 Eyes and to say the least was pleasantly surprised with the breakdown.details of the report.
According to advertized records from Ford used by Marti Autoworks to generate the report. It seems that there was only 1 1983 Convertible built with the Engine, Power Train, Interior & Exterior colour & trim package, GLX Option Package, TRX Wheels, Premium Sound system plus a Metric Speedometer/Odometer for I assume the Canadian market and it seems I have it
I always kind of knew it was possible that the car may have been 1 of a limited number produced for the Canadian Market maybe 1 of 15 or 20 but never even considered or even thought of the possibility for it to be a 1 of 1
Before I get too excited as if I won the lottery should I take the report information as something definitive & accurate or be a bit cautious about this

Sounds promising, you should get a professional appraisal done, it doesn't get more exclusive than 1 of 1.

Start packing for Barrett Jackson. lol.

Thanks for the response.and the suggestion of having an appraisal done I was considering having one done
I am however concerned about and have run into some major roadblocks trying to verify and prove the actual mileage on the vehicle. As you may know the odometer in many of the early 80's vehicles rolled over at 100,000 Km and at present, the odometer currently reads just under 4000 Km and the Carfax report I have on the vehicle shows only 1 service record before it was shipped from BC to New Brunswick with no odometer reading. I feel pretty certain that the odometer has rolled over at least once but without service records and odometer readings it is difficult if not impossible to prove it hasn't rolled over more than that. I've even reached out to Ford dealer that originally sold the vehicle and was told after the dealership changed hands a few years ago any archived service records were destroyed. Having said that and based on the condition of many of what is believed to be original components on the engine & suspension, some of which have been changed out since purchasing the vehicle, and my experience as an engineer I feel pretty certain that the odometer may have only rolled over once
