poly mounts or solid mounts
just wanting to know whats the diffrence or the pros and cons of each. the polyurethane mounts and the solid motor mounts.. cause im in need of new motor mounts.. thank you

There is some give an the poly's but the solid your getting 100% torque threw the driveline.
Solid could be a little harder on parts but thats your call, I like solids just my 2 cents. Glad to see you back on the board man :) |
I say poly to allow some forgiveness to the chassis.

I have ran solid motor mounts in my 93 for some time. Was always told it would be easier on my trans. The solid motor mounts don't really bother me at all, drive ability remains the same.
