Pros and cons of a coyote swap in 2003 mustang Gt

What do you all think? I’m hearing better gas mileage. I don’t know if I can part with the 2V. 2vlivesmatter!
ive got 411 hp in my car at the moment. Vortech supercharger. Base hp with coyote would be 435. I could always add my s/c later if it fits. What do you all think? Thanks.

I wouldn't do it. You would have to buy an engine, complete wiring harness and ECM's plus exhaust system, transmission, motor mounts. It could be done and has been, but for a lot less money you could put a 348 stroker kit and some aluminum heads and get some good power. Also, you need to upgrade the brakes and beef up your suspension, rear end etc. To go fast, you need to stop well.
Coyote's have some issues, depending what year. The old 302 still has life to be lived.
Gas mileage, maybe you'd save a couple hundred bucks a year, after a $10,000 swap.

Agreed, a built 2V will do you just fine, but is fuel economy really your concern? If so you you are headed in the wrong direction with any type of forced induction.
