question about doors
 
well i have officailly givin up on power windows and door locks so im thinkin about buy a set of doors and slap em up and start doin it up manually but heres my question i got a 84 body so what years of mustang will the doors bolt up on hercuz 84 is not common around abbotsford



next question is bucket seats do you guys know if different years will bolt up in the 84

80-93 doors work. if you have t tops you need vert doors. 79 doors have the inside handle in a different spot. also any mustang seat from 79-04 will bolt in with little trouble.

Yep, all seats 79-04 bolt right in.. 79-93 is a perfect fit, 94-04 seats may sit a little higher, but not by much. I've got '00 seats in my '89 and I love em :chacha:

I discovered a weird thing when I put '88 doors on my '87. The wire loom "accordian" that goes from the pillar to the door on the '87 was smaller than the '88's so I had to swap that part over as the corresponding holes don't match. The '87s were BARELY large enough to route the wires onto ( hence the change in '88 I'd imagine.) One other oddity is the "accordians" on the '87 had a 1971 Mustang part number on them ( Vintage guys take note!)

BTW the 88's had power glass and it was as easy as plugging in a few wires and presto power windows!
