radio lights wonky

ok, just came across a new problem with the car.
it started after comming back from shannonville.
when i am driving down the road, with the head light switch not pulled on. my clock, radio and cdplyer lights will dim and brighten.
you know how they do it when you turn your lights on they dim.
well now it does it out of teh blue, then brighten again in a couple seconds...
what would it be?
loose wire? :2:
loose switch? :2:
where do i start? :2:
anyone heard of this before? :2:

1996 cobra, for those who dont know my car.

you might wanna check the dimmer wire..it can be found either behind the radio or the clock with a voltmeter or testlight. It will go from 8-12 volts with the lights on and adj with the dimmer nob, might be shorting out or loose...

good luck.. :thumb1:

To avoid catastrophic meltdown, sell it.

My guess would be a headlight switch. Sounds like maybe it has loose internals, could also be the dimmer, but since Stealth has a spare switch, I'd give it a try.
