Spent the last few weeks talking with Hagerty insurance , and figuring out what's best for the GT now that it's hitting that age where it's value is important, and having the proper coverage for my car's needs , and mods moving forward.
So yesterday it was official, the move was done, and the cancellation of just the typical coverage with my regular insurer was cancelled, and Hagerty is it's new home. My mind is finally at ease knowing it is covered properly being modded, and because it's surpassed that age were it's value is no longer worth anything to the eyes of the average insurance company.
If any of you are looking to do the same, I recommend!! :)

Was there much difference in rates between what you previously paid and Hagerty?

+1 for Hag . They are utmost professionals who will treat you and your car with respect. The rates are typically much lower for older cars (My 83 is like 250 a year)

Ya, it's working out to be 25 to 30 bucks cheaper per month, but my overall concerns was if something were to happen.... via accident, theft, ects.... the insurance would only give me what the book value of a 2003 mustang GT is ...... crap. Plus I can be honest with everything done to my Gt, and not be worried about being dropped cause it's modded. It's a win for me, and a win for the Gt.
