I just pulled it off slowly. You can get most of the glue that way and u will still have to remove some after, if just rub the glue it will peel away easily.

take a plastic putty knife, start at one edge and work slowly untill you can grab ahold of it, then putting a little pressure pull and cut the tape with the knife till it comes off. Go to your parts store buy a Eraser wheel, put it on your drill, this will take the tape off the easiest. Then a little polish and you'll never know it was on there.

i did my driver side just the other day.. i have a black stang, so i left it in the sun to heat the glue, grabed the trim peice and SLOWLY pull it off. then i just pulled most of the major peices of glue..
after that i had got "goo-gone" and gave it a decent ammount and i just scrubbed it all off with a cloth. after that use a clay bar, sealer/glaze, and a few coats of polish to bring it back up with the rest of the car.

a lot of people say you need to get your door re-done after doing it.. and honestly i dont see why.. it worked out fine, and mine's black.. it shows EVERYTHING!:wiggle:

warm it with a hair dryer pull slowly warming as you go

best to remove it on a hot day. Let the car sit in the sun for a little while and slowly pull the moulding back while rubbing off the leftover tape on the door.
Depending on the condition of your paint you might have a dark spot left over, if you do a buff will help
