Rpm issues

Hey all! I got myself a 1976 Ford Mustang 2 and recently did a performance rebuild on my 302 as well as had to upgrade my torque converter to a 2200 rpm stall. Was driving it on the highway and with my C4 transmission, I hit 130kmph @ 5500 rpm. Using the rpm calculators online, it should be around 3900. My car tops off at 130 because of this. Would this be the expected normal with a cam at 0.5 lift?

Have 3.41 gears, C4 with shift kit, 24.65" tire diameter (13" rims), 1.00 transmission ratio in third gear.

Thanks!
