S197 grill swap
 

i just swapped in the street scenes grill from summit, the one that puts the fogs in the middle. my question is, after my wife was nice enough to point out you can see the "big silver thingy" behind the grill (condenser and rad) i was wondering about giving it a light coat of flat black. any issues one might think of? cooling restrictions?

Do it, many do that so don't worry about it.

It will be alright to spray it black.It will not cause you any issues.:tup

I did mine - blacked out everything and relocated the horns to clean things up. No problems at all.

Listen to the experts :tup that have been there and done that TJ and you'll do OK with yours. I love the way women use those technical mumbo-jumbo words.:lol

x3 dude. Looks great - keeps the factory look and avoids the tacky aftermarket "front screen door" look some of the kits out there have.
