Second gear thud/grind. Please help me

Hello every one I just purchased a 2017 mustang ecobbost last week, and thus is my first mustang ever.
i have seen a few posts regarding this issue. Every fear is smooth but goijg
from first to second seems to be a nightmare😐. Makes like a thud grinding noise. I can down shift into second with absolutely no problem, just when going from 1st to 2nd.
ive seen post on here but no one ever seems to have a answer for it. I'm really
hopijg some one can point me in the right direction regarding my issue.

Welcome Steve, congrats on your first Mustang, sorry to hear you're having a problem.

So, the dealership has nothing for you in the way of assistance? Sounds like warranty work to me.

its going on on Monday I'm hoping it's something minor they can fix. I can see them giving me a hard time saying it's normal lol apparently from what I've read it's a common problem. Does any one have any idea what it is ?

Look at the Blowfish Racing shifter support bracket, there is one for the Eco Boost. It fixed all my shifting issues on my 2013 Boss with a Getrag MT-82 transmission. Watch the video and read the reviews (after the part description). They're all 5 out of 5 star.

Correct, the occasional 1st to 2nd grind was gone, as well as the 2nd to 3rd nibble, which was my bigger issue. For me this is an unbelievable product.

Here is a picture of mine. Very simple install with a lift, not to bad with jack stands. All work is done from underneath the car.
