Now that summer is almost here and daylight savings time just around the corner when do you dust off the car and put her on the road ?

mine's a year round DD.. but the rims and lowering kit arent going on till mid/late march it's also going through and extream detailing too..

May 1st for me. I have some mods to complete before it comes out.

Usually wait till all the run off from the snow banks had stopped. Need a couple good rains. Usually the end of April is average but some years its sooner :)

Ours wasn't brought home from the dealer until the streets were clear on March 29th last year, drove it home, put it in the garage and it snowed a foot that night it didn't come out again till mid-April. Hoping for early April this year but its Alberta, anything could happen weather wise.

as soon as the roads are clear , she will be on the street snake hunting...... theres a few mouths here in alberta that need an ass whoopin ,lmao

where I store I get blocked in so I have to wait until people leave and I have a clear path out. usually takes a few weekends to empty out so I'm in there usually until early May.

May 1st every year, no snow, no salt, no BS!

As soon as the salt is washed off the roads by a few good rains.

Took mine out yesterday for a wash, and wax. Now its raining and they are calling for 15cm of snow. She will sit in the garage all clean and nice for a while yet.

I technically have it out (insured) all year but it does not leave the garage until mid April :wiggle:

May 1st for me too. Just because the snow is gone does not mean the salt is gone.

man all this crap is killing me!!! ordered up a handling package and new front brakes from steeda.. a stage three bumper from roush.. and a mother's care wax/cleaning kit... and i'm scared to do any of it... :( only thing i can do this instant is install my new amp...

Well today was the day! Sun was shining, roads were relatively dry so i took the car for a little spin today. Damn it felt good, but almost guilty because of the sand and remnants of road salt left on the road. C'mon Spring

I want roads washed with rain, no snow on grass... and of course warm weather lol not just durring the day but decent temps at night because thats when the car comes out

I usually bring mine out in April,... but I had it out once a couple of weeks ago on that nice weekend after all the rain.

Normally mid April by then the snow is usually gone. I usually go a pothole run in the 4x4 to check the streets before I take the mustang out in the city. Edmonton is pothole city.

My GT is insured to drive again starting mid April,but i will wait to see what the roads are like before i drive her.

Another fine Saturday around here which led to a nice little drive and then about 4 hours of detailing. Wash, Clay bar and wax, spitshine the rims, armour all, etc...damn now its looks like its gonna sit for a another week or so.

I was ready to take mine out...
The salt was gone
Barely any snow left to be seen
It was all detailed and ready to go...
2 days later...75CM of snow from one storm (March 23)
So it will be at least the 2nd week of April for me as the next 2 days are calling for sleet and snow...Then I will have to wait for a few more rains to clean everything up again!!!
I HATE WINTER!!!

I actually would have been thrilled with all that snow; it would have meant one last rip on the sled instead of the stang! :tup

Haven't had snow for awhile, but I still see white salt traces on the roads so NOPE ill wait till first weekend of May at least!
