Spoiler compatibility

I was wondering how I can find out if a spoiler from a 2000 mustang coupe would fit a 1999 convertible...or if anyone knows how I could find out. Thank you!

The trunk lids will definitely be the same so I can’t see why it wouldn’t. I’m assuming the 99 doesn’t have a spoiler installed?

No it does not. The trunk lids do look the same. I'll roll the dice and see if it works.

It sounds like you are drilling holes anyway so it shouldn’t be an issue. The 99-00 spoiler was the same then it changed from 01-04 but the trunk lids were the same. I know people used to relocate the 99-00 spoilers 2 or 3 inches further back on the trunk lid which looked better imo. Before you do the install you may want to research it.
