spotted Mustang Cobra II near Lindsay
 

I'm reposting this from the General tread below. Should have been here in the first place I guess(hope)
Saw a Black and gold Mustang Cobra II.It was up on blocks keeping company with a '62'ish Falcon. It was on hwy 7 west of Lindsay on the way to Orillia. There was a lot of traffic at the time and I didn't stop but kicked myself afterwards. They're just so rare. Anybody know anything about it.

Has it been sitting there long. Is it being restored? Is it for sale?

With any luck the car in question has had the original motor pulled and a 5.0 from something like an 89 installed.

I had a Mustang II Cobra with a 4spd stick "challenge" me once, let's just say it can't keep up with a 69 with a 302.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I don't think they are an ugly car, but I'd rather put my dollars into a Fox platform car.

Theres one a couple miles from from house. They look like a POS and go like a honda.
