Spring Mods anyone???
I'll be the optimist and say spring is on its way.......yah, I know its February, but I'm hoping to be back on the road at the start of April.
Soooooo.....who's been planning mods over the winter ?? Oh, Oh, Oh, Mr Kotter..... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cqpj5heXgAQZBMY.jpg Our Resident CMOC Diva probably wasn't even thought of at this time, but anyway, the older crowd will get what I'm saying. I'm going to pull the trigger on the Ford Performance GT350R Rear Seat Delete, super easy to install, and might even drop a few pounds too. I love the way this car sounds with the rear seat backs down, and chances are, no one is ever going to sit in the back anyway. Good news, if the time arises where I need the back seat, easy to retro fit. https://performanceparts.ford.com/im...-6346612-M.jpg Ford Performance Part #M-6346612-M Anyone else got plans for the nice weather, 1lo already posted his.....curious to see what everyone else has on tap. |
The only plan I have is to get it out of storage. Come on Miss April! <---- It's Miss February up in my garage now, Miss March is next. Then the beautiful Miss April. :)

That seat delete looks much nicer than the ones I've used in the past. I don't have any mods planned, as I've got nothing to mod. I'm hoping to come across something before spring.

Borla resonator delete mid pipes, Mickey Thompson tires and rear lower control arms for the 2013 Boss. Blowfish shifter support bracket for the 2012 Laguna Seca.

I'm a relatively short guy, 5'8", so the seat is pretty far forward, and theres barely enough room for a child to sit behind me, very little between the seat cushion and back of the front seat.
Installation looks pretty straightforward, and as I said, you can always go back. Best part is that it's OEM equipment, so fit and finish is spot on. |
Got these on my shopping list too.....
https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-5300-W - Fits 2015-2017 Mustang GT350 and GT350R - Gives a more aggressive-looking stance, as well as increased handling dynamics yet maintains excellent ride quality - Lowers car approximately 20 mm front and rear - Works with both standard and MagneRide suspension systems - Designed to work with production struts, shocks and sway bars - May cause slightly harsher ride when compared to stock springs If it looks half as good as the S197 kits I've seen, I'm in, and they're pretty reasonably priced. I love how its a perfect fit for the application, no other mods required. |

Solid list, how much of an improvement with the Blowfish shifter support? I've heard of replacing shifters, the support thing is new for me.
In my opinion don't waste money on a replacement shifter, this will fix the problem. :tup :) |
