sync?

i was trying to figure out how to use certain things with the sync program. but i cant find everything in the book like for my Ipod, i know if i hook it up through the usb it charges it and i have an aux cord which plays the music. though i cant get it to charge while it plays do i have to buy one of thoughs best buy ipod sets or can i make it work this way?

Have you visited syncmyride.com yet to register? There is also another website I found very useful for info when I bought my 2010, it is flmowner.com which is a Ford Lincoln owners site, and if you click on the tab "Vehicle Basics" there is a drop down with info on the Sync system. Hope this helps.

Your Ipod should both play and charge through the USB. I know it can be problematic if the songs aren't tagged properly which tends to happen when illegally downloading music. I've never used it but I'm told there is a program called MP3 Tag that can be downloaded for free which helps you retag all the music you have.
