87 GT vert.

May 21,1998

A friend of mine owned it for a few years, and never drove it, just sat in his garage.
The first time I saw it, told him if he ever wants to sell, to call me first.

Why did I buy it?
1)Friend called me 2 years later and said he would sell to me if I still wanted it
2)Threw in a set of mint ponies with the car aswell
3)Price and milage
4) Bank was more than willing to give me some cash....lol

Found it at a Ford dealer in Collingwood while I was doing my courier run.

They just got it traded in and the sales guy offered it to me for $800.
Couldn't pass that up

4. its my first car and when i seen i wanted to buy it and i did. didnt know how under powered the v6 was though so now its my lifework to surprise people with my 3.8.... till i buy a 5.0

#3 How did you come across it?
-It's what i chose brand spankin new.

#4 Why did you buy it?
-Almost bought a 2001 Bullitt,and backed out of the deal after having a bad feeling,and sure enough my wife and i were expecting our first and only child,so i kept my 5.0L that i already had,and as time rolled on,i still wanted to have a Bullitt,but no way at the time was there any around,but at the same time i wanted a virgin stang of my own that no one else touched,or abused,so new i went,and i wanted silver cause i loved how the Bullitt rims went with that color,and love how simple it is to keep clean.

3. Bought it off the lot in Lindsay. Because they wouldn't get me one in Peterborough. They didn't think I was serious? A week later when I drove in their lot with it they knew I was!

4. Was always an older Camero guy but didn't like the new ones.

In the first 8 years put on 219000km's. Last 10 yrs less than 10000kms.

hello,well to start im a new guy to fords and i thought id start with a mint 83gt,,i traded my boat for it and love the car.its 302,headers,edlebrock intake and gassucken edlebrock carb,,,i love it.it goes like hell and is a head turnen fun little car.im new to the site here and would like to get together with other stang folks.i live in port dover,,,,home of friday the 13th biker bash,corvette days,hummer days,,,how about a mustang days here???? who knows.would even like to go for a couple cruises if its close before i put this pony in the barn.chat back ,,,thanks

3- Saw it on an internal posting at my work, when to check it out, bought it the next day.
4- Always loved the fox body and hated imports, also its in great shape and its a fantastic car to work on while learning. Only mistake on the purchase is that its speed density year.



PS. 20 year old nuts and bolts dont like to come appart.

Just looking around for a car and this one caught my eye. Love it
