No use on a N/A car. You will not see any gaines. I was thinking about this mod as well as the BBK throttle body and the research I did showed no HP gains.

X2 - And I wouldn't go BBK.
You have to use your stock retaining springs and it can be a PITA to adjust.

There are GT500 throttle bodies that are staight bolt ons for a stock GT. BBR and Granatelli both come to mind.
I e-mailed Blow By Blow Racing (BBR) and he says to expect hp gains of 8-12 hp @ the wheels with no tune.

My experience is different....

I have had those crappy things sold on eBay... waste of money.

My little V6 now has the real deal from Steeda and I could feel the difference after the install. Also my mpg has gone up. I'm now constantly over 34 mpg although I've done other things also to get that.

I've found the air horn to be a waste of money over my many years. I now take the stock airbox and use a 2 inch forestner bit to drill holes on the front and fender side of the box and then stick in a K&N... up went the power and the mpg and saved myself over $200. I then put on (as many of you know) the GT takeoff exhaust. Again.. up went the power and mpg.

Mind you I'm after mpg not zoom zoom...

and this is all from just a throttle body spacer

Guess it all comes down to whether or not you think it's worth it - I've never had any interest in them.

No, I was referring to the entire throttle body.
But then if I had actually read your post I might have noticed that you were referring to just the spacer. I'm such a dumbass sometimes.:banghead:
