Tire Dressing - What do you use?

Tire Dressing - What do you use?

Hey Guys and Gals....

Just curious to see who uses what and what kind of success you have with the product. Are you using foam, spray or gel? Does it stay on the tire or fly all over the side and other parts of your car? :banghead:

Tell me your story....... :cyberguy:

Stoner's "More Shine Less Time". Spray Aerosol dries instantly and doesnt sling. What I like most is I can do 4 tires in 30 seconds.

Does anyone find the Meguire's or similiar type products sling the residue down the side of the car. As well it really picks up dust. I will use the Meguires if the car is going to sit for extended periods. :tup

I've tried many products in the past and currently I prefer 303. It resists dust, adhers well and lasts a long time.

Hey Paul...

The thing that prompted me to post this thread was the fact that I bought the Meguires Hot Shot tire spray in Carlisle when I was there. The stuff appeared to work well till I noticed it was absolutely everywhere on the car, like overspray and "splattered" down the sides as well. :bleh:

Thing is I didn't spray the product on a breezy day and I let it set for quite some time and then lightly wiped the excess of the rims and tires.

I don't recall having this problem with the No Touch foam, other than wiping off the excess that laid on the rim at the 6 o'clock position.

Likewise with the Armour-All spray. It worked well and pretty much problem free.

Nothing can P*** you off more than detailing your car and finding that it pretty much has to be redone from tire dressing. :banghead: :cry2:
